What to expect

The defense will start with an introduction by the Chair of the jury, followed by a 45-minute presentation where I will present my research, in English. The thesis explores how Federated Learning can enable collaborative AI development in healthcare while enhancing patient privacy, enabling hospitals to train powerful machine learning models without sharing sensitive medical data.

After the presentation there will be a Q&A session, followed by the jury’s deliberation.

After the defense, you are warmly invited to join us for a reception where we can celebrate together, catch up, and enjoy some drinks and appetizers.
